1. Introduction
Huntley Care Limited (“Huntley Care”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation within our business and supply chains.
This policy sets out our approach in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, EU directives, and relevant Maltese legislation.
Modern slavery is unacceptable and constitutes a criminal offence. We take a zero-tolerance approach to such practices.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:

All employees, contractors, and temporary staff of Huntley Care Limited;

All suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners providing goods or services to Huntley Care;

Operations conducted in the UK, Malta, and any jurisdiction where Huntley Care operates.
3. Our Commitment
Huntley Care will:

Ensure recruitment, employment, and procurement practices are ethical, fair, and transparent;

Conduct due diligence on suppliers and business partners to identify and mitigate modern slavery risks;

Maintain robust internal reporting mechanisms for suspected instances of modern slavery;

Train employees and relevant partners to recognise, report, and prevent modern slavery;

Cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in cases of suspected slavery or trafficking.
4. Responsibilities
All staff and management have a responsibility to:

Act in accordance with this Policy and report concerns immediately;

Avoid complicity in any form of modern slavery;

Escalate any suspicions or breaches via the internal reporting procedure.
Reports may be submitted in confidence to the Managing Director or Registered Manager.
5. Supply Chain Compliance
We require suppliers and contractors to:

Adhere to ethical employment practices;

Demonstrate compliance with anti-slavery legislation;

Permit audits or checks to verify adherence to this Policy.
Suppliers failing to comply may have contracts terminated.
6. Reporting and Whistleblowing

Huntley Care guarantees that no employee or partner will face retaliation for reporting concerns in good faith.
7. Monitoring and Review
Huntley Care will review this Policy annually, or sooner if legislative changes require.
Effectiveness will be measured by internal audits, supplier compliance checks, and employee feedback.
8. Governance
The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring implementation, oversight, and compliance with this Policy.
All employees and business partners are required to comply with this Policy as a condition of engagement with Huntley Care.
