Job description
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of our elderly clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care and daily living support
Assisting clients with dementia in a respectful and understanding manner
Offering companionship and emotional support
Supporting mobility and safe moving and handling
Monitoring changes in clients’ wellbeing and reporting concerns
Supporting clients with meals, hydration, and basic household tasks
Working collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
Essential requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
Experience working with elderly clients, including those with dementia
A good command of spoken and written English
A caring, patient, and reliable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
The right to work in Malta (or eligibility to obtain it)
