Job description

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of our elderly clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and daily living support

  • Assisting clients with dementia in a respectful and understanding manner

  • Offering companionship and emotional support

  • Supporting mobility and safe moving and handling

  • Monitoring changes in clients’ wellbeing and reporting concerns

  • Supporting clients with meals, hydration, and basic household tasks

  • Working collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals

Essential requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Experience working with elderly clients, including those with dementia

  • A good command of spoken and written English

  • A caring, patient, and reliable approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • The right to work in Malta (or eligibility to obtain it)
