We provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly clients, many of whom are living with dementia. Job description
Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting clients with mobility and safe transfers
Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans
Preparing meals and offering nutritional support
Assisting with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Offering emotional support and companionship
Monitoring and recording changes in clients’ health and behaviour
Following individual care plans to deliver tailored support
Communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
Essential requirements
A minimum of 12 months’ experience in health and social care within the UK
Previous experience in homecare and supporting elderly individuals with dementia
A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Up-to-date mandatory training, including Moving & Handling, Medication Awareness, and Basic Life Support
Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach
Right to work in the UK
