Huntley Care is seeking an experienced, reliable and caring Live-in Carer to support a client in their own home in London. You will help them maintain their independence, dignity and daily routine while providing reassurance and companionship.

Job description
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support.
Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
Supporting mobility and safe transfers in line with the care plan and your training.
Providing medication support within your training and agreed responsibilities.
Helping with appointments, shopping, outings and everyday activities.
Completing light housekeeping and laundry associated with the client’s care.
Maintaining accurate care records and promptly reporting changes or concerns.
Following safeguarding procedures and respecting privacy and confidentiality.
Essential requirements
Previous experience in live-in care, homecare or a similar care role.
A warm, compassionate approach and strong communication skills.
Good spoken and written English.
Confidence following care plans and maintaining professional boundaries.
The right to work in the UK.
Satisfactory references and an appropriate enhanced DBS check.
A relevant health and social care qualification is desirable.
